Diagnosis of Carotid-Cavernous Sinus Fistula Using Ultrasound, Color Doppler Imaging, CT-Scan and Digital Subtraction Angiography

The results of diagnosis of 7 cases of carotid-cavernous sinus fistula are presented. The diagnosis was based on A-and B-mode and color Doppler echography, CT-scan and X-ray digital subtraction angiography. It is concluded that B-mode echography is the primary diagnostic modality for this disease.
