Physiological Functions of Peptide Tyrosine-tyrosine and Its Potential Application in Lactating Sows

Feed intake plays an important role in determining the production performance in lactating sows.As one of the typical feeding inhibitors,peptide tyrosine-tyrosine has important effects on negative-regulating feed intake and promoting digestion in animals.The main biological characteristics and physiological functions of peptide tyrosine-tyrosine,and its potential application in lactating sows are reviewed in this paper.
