Responding to Young Homeless People with a Mental Illness

Australia has a high percent of mentally ill homeless people but are low on services that are well equipped to deal with this client group due to the lack of available specialist support options and difficulty in obtaining a diagnosis. Some strategies that can be applied by youth homelessness services to improve their ability to respond to mental illness in clients or colleagues are discussed.
