Modulation depth enhancement for highly sensitive electro-optic RF near-field measurement

A modulation depth enhancement technique for highly sensitive electro-optic (EO) sensing of RF near-fields is presented. This technique increases EO signal intensity without increasing total power received by a photodiode (PD). Therefore, sensitivity limitation owing to saturation of the PD can be avoided.
