Therapeutic Effect of Shuangmasan plus Ketotifen on Allergic Rhinitis

Objective To observe the effect of Shuangmasan plus Ketotifen on allergic rhintis. Methods 90 patients with allergic rhinitis were randomly divided into treatment group (n=60) which were treated by Shuangmasan plus Ketotifen and control group (n=30) which were administrated Ketotifen. The treatment course was 14 days in both groups. The effect was observed after three courses. Results The total effective rate in treatment group (93.3%) was significantly higher than that in the control group (36.1%)(P0.01). Conclusion Shuangmasan plus Ketotifen have definite effect on allergic rhinitis.
