X-ray-gulded three-lumen nasogastrojejunal tube in postsurgical gastroparesis syndome

The three-lumen nasogastrojejunal tube was placed through guide wires under X-ray monitoring for 21 patients with postsurgical gastroparesis syndrome.The suction cavity was placed at sinus ventriculi for decompression and the feeding cavity was placed at jejunum for nourishment.The tube was successfully placed in all patients except one who need the help of gastroscopy.The time of procedure was 5-38 min with an average of 16 min.The duration for the nutrient tube staying was 9-51 d with an average of 23 d.All patients cured.Three-lumen nasogastrojejunal tube placed under X-ray monitoring proves to be a safe, convenient, highly tolerable and effective procedure.
