Economic profitability of watermelon in different frequency fertirrigation with nitrogen and phosphorus.

2014
Obtaining profit by an agricultural company can be designated as your primary goal, it is necessary, then, the rational use of available resources in order to achieve the highest levels of profitability. In order to evaluate the influence of different frequencies of fertigation with nitrogen and phosphorus in the economic performance of watermelon, two experiments were conducted at the site Paraguay, the Cruz, Ceara, in the period from October 12 to December 20, 2010. The study design was a randomized block design with six treatments and four replications. The treatments were: 2F 2 fertigation cycle; 4F 4 fertigation cycle; 8F 8 fertigation cycle; 16F 16 fertigation cycle; 32F 32 fertigation cycle and 64F 64 fertigation cycle. We evaluated the net in both experiments. Nitrogen fertigation for the highest net revenue obtained was (R $ 8,799.00) for the treatment 64F. While, for fertigation phosphorus the highest net revenue (R $ 3,427.41) was obtained for the treatment 32F. The installment of fertigation with N and P increased the net making the activity more profitable and secure.
