Water and cargo accumulation preventing structure for shipborne manhole cover

The invention relates to a water and cargo accumulation preventing structure for a shipborne manhole cover. The water and cargo accumulation preventing structure comprises a cargo hold bottom (1), the embedded manhole cover (2) and a protective cover plate (3), a steel protective ring (4) is fixedly arranged along a vertical wall plate (1a) of the cargo hold bottom, the top end of the protective ring makes contact with the lower edge of the protective cover plate, and the thickness of the steel protective ring is larger than the width of the gap between the cargo hold bottom and the protective cover plate. A groove (4a) is formed in the side, facing the protective cover plate, of the steel protective ring, and a rubber strip (5) is clamped in the groove. The groove is formed in the upper end of the side face of the steel protective ring. As the steel protective ring and the rubber strip are arranged, cargos and water can be effectively prevented from accumulating between the manhole cover and the cargo hold bottom and swept by staff conveniently, and corrosion to the manhole cover by the cargos and the water is reduced.
