Tumors in the Anterior Part of the Third Ventricle Removed by Right Transventricular Approach

During 5 years (1980–1984) 35 tumors of the third ventricle have been operated upon in the neurosurgical department of the University Hospital, Hamburg (UKE). These represented 5.3% of all supratentorial tumors operated upon during the same period of time. In this series no tumors were included which were only biopsied for histologic identification and radiotherapy.
