Four-dimensional echocardiographic and pathologic findings of congenital left ventricular aneurysm: A case report.
2020
Congenital left ventricular aneurysm (LVA) is a rare cardiac anomaly that is often diagnosed using two-dimensional (2D) echocardiography, presenting as a bulging of the left ventricle (LV) wall, with a wide neck connected to the LV. However, some cases are not easily diagnosed using conventional approaches. Four-dimensional (4D) echocardiography could provide more information that may improve diagnostic accuracy.[1] The present study reports a case of LVA diagnosed using 4D echocardiography.
