Application of absorbable soft tissue plastic belt for lifting the midface

Objective To explore the clinical effect of the application of absorbable soft tissue plastic belt for lifting the midface. Methods Choosing 63 facial aging patients of Department of Medical Aesthetic Center, Xinjiang Military Command Central Hospital from June 2015 to June 2018 as research objects who accepted the midface facial lifting with the absorbable soft tissue plastic belt. The indexes of lifting range, the satisfaction of patients and complications were evaluated. And the patients′ postoperative recovery were followed up by face-seeing, making a call and WeChat. Results Facial aging was improved in 63 patients. The indexes of lifting range was 0.5-1.0 cm, the median appearance of satisfaction score was 3.9 points. Two cases who accompanied by severe eye bag were combined with eye bag removal surgery. Five cases who had serious nasal lip groove were combined with nasal lip groove filling and all of them were satisfied with the postoperative effects finally. Four cases of check congestion and 2 cases of temporal and lateral canthus congestion recovered within 2 weeks after operation. Eight patients felt tempus slight numbness, but gradually recovered about 3-6 months after operation.There were no complications such as infection and rejection of implant materials. Conclusion The application of absorbable soft tissue plastic belt for lifting the midface has significant effects and many advantages, such as, minimally invasive, safe, high patient satisfaction and fewer complications, it is worth widely applying and promoting in the clinic.
