Mixed-spin incompressible states in the fractional quantum Hall effect.
1993
This work provides a theory of the general structure of mixed-spin fractional quantum Hall states, which are relevant at low magnetic fields. This, in particular, leads to a microscopic description of the experimentally observed mixed-spin states at v=2/3, 4/3, and 3/5. Antiparallel-flux-attachment transformation of the composite fermion theory plays an important role in explaining the mixed-spin states in the filling factor range 2/3>v>1/2
