Gambaran Status Gizi pada Lansia Penderita Hipertensi di Posyandu Lansia Desa Pagutan Kabupaten Pacitan

Introduction: Hypertension is a degenerative disease caused by problems in the cardiovascular system where the condition of tired blood vessels constantly pumps with hard pressure. Hypertension disease is one of the deadly diseases or also referred to as silent killer because the initial symptoms in this disease can not be known easily even without symptoms. The main factors causing hypertension that currently occur in the elderly are some of them are lifestyle changes and nutritional status imbalance factors. Where lifestyle change factors greatly affect the nutritional status of a person. Changing nutritional status is characterized by increased weight gain that can directly affect blood pressure. Purpose: to know how the description of nutritional status and nutrient intake in elderly people with hypertension. Research Method: This research method is quantitative by using descriptive approach. The entire population of elderly people with hypertension in Posyandu Lansia Pagutan Village. A sample of 51 respondents with hypertension was taken in total sampling. Data collection using research instruments in the form of Body Mass Index (BMI) measurement and Semi Quantitative Food Frequency Questionare (SQ-FFQ) questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using univariate analysis. Research Result: The average age of respondents aged 60-64 years, with female gender, the number of people with hypertension degree II as many as 48 respondents. Fat BMI results as much as 26 with more carbohydrate intake as many as 27 respondents, protein intake more as many as 31 respondents, and fat intake of more as many as 51 respondents.
