The study of life's quality and its effective factors on the health center's personnel

IntroductionQuality of life (QOL) is an important concept beyond physical health. Personnel’s QOL is very important due to the exposure to environmental, social and career stressors. The aim of this study was to determine the status of QOL and its influencing factors on health center’s personnel in Savojbolagh County.Materials and MethodsThe present survey was a cross-sectional study on 146 health center's personnel in Savojbolagh County. For data collecting the brief questioner with 26 questions recommended by the World Health Organization (WHOQOL-BREF) were used. Finally, collected data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation test, t-test and ANOVA by SPSS18 software.ResultsThe study population included 97 females (66.4%) and 49 men (33.6%), respectively. The overall average age of personnel was 32.36 ± 4.60. The average score of four dimensions of QOL (Physical health, Psychological health, Social relationships and Environment health) were 67.84, 65.51, 68.38 and 67.43, respectively. The QOL did not have a statistically significant relationship with age, sex, education and income.    ConclusionThe relationship between independent variables considered in this study and QOL of health center's personnel in the Savojbolagh County was not statistically significant. These results showed that other variables have an impact on QOL so that further researches in this area are required.Key words: Quality of life, Personnel, Health center.
