Effect Comparison of Two Methods of Pulling out Air Bladder Catheters

Objective To explore the influence of two kinds of methods for pulling out air bladder catheters on patients' micturation.Methods 400 cases of patients with catheter nursing in our department were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group with 200 cases in each group.The patients in the control group received the conventional nursing based on the nursing textbooks,while the patients in the observation group received modified nuring based on the conventional nursing,the catheters were removed after bladder filling.Results The success rate of micturation was 97% in the observation group,while 62% in the control group,the difference between the two groups had statistical significance(χ2 = 28.15,P 0.05) .Conclusion Removing the catheters after bladder filling is beneficial to the function exercise of bladder detrusor,which can improve the success rate of micturation.
