Effect of oxytocin combined with carboprost methylate suppositories on postoperative hemorrhage after cesarean section

2019
Objective To observe the curative effect of oxytocin combined with carboprost suppositories in different ways for preventing postoperative hemorrhage after cesarean section. Methods A total of 180 primipara who underwent cesarean section delivery from January 2015 to March 2018 were randomly divided into groups A, B and C with 60 cases each. The amount of blood loss during surgery, 2 h and 24 h after operation and 2 h postoperative uterine contractions were compared and adverse reactions were observed. Results Compared with groups A and C, the amount of blood loss was significantly reduced in group B during surgery, 2 h and 24 h after operation (P 0.05). Conclusion Sublingual carboprost methylate suppositories at 3 minutes before fetal delivery is more effective in preventing PPH in primipara undergoing cesarean delivery.
