Effect of snore on compliance of carotid blood vessel

2004
In order to know the effect of snore on compliance of carotid blood vessel, the SD mice (were used) as experimental subjects. The mice were divided into two groups: one group was raised in a special cabin so that these mice were under the similar conditions with snore conditions; the other group was raised in normal conditions. After the experimental subjects met the requirement, all mice's carotid vessels were taken out to carry out perfusion experiment in which data about pressure and volume were ( recorded.) After all compliance values of all mice in various elongated states were obtained, statistic (tool was) used to examine the difference between two groups' compliance values. The result (from the (experiment) shows) that snore can make compliance values of carotid vessels of SD mice become greater.
