This thesis deals with nutrition - giving nourishment and liquids to patients in their terminal phase of life. In concrete terms the thesis specifies nutrition preferences of patients hospitalized in a hospice. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part formulates nutrition in general and specifies giving nourishment to oncologically ill patients. The empirical part contains the interpretation of data gained from the questionnaire survey.
