Myocardial perfusion scintigraphy (MPS) as a non-invasive diagnostic imaging procedure and certain biomarkers associated with myocardial ischemia (ISCH), such as ischemia-modified albumin (IMA), neuropeptide Y (NPY), N-terminal pro b-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP), and high-sensitivity troponin T (hsTnT) could probably aid in the detection of myocardial infarction.
