Patients with advanced chronic kidney disease (CKD) are at high risk for developing contrast-induced nephropathy (CIN) after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) ([1][1]). A minimum-contrast PCI technique using intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) reportedly helps prevent CIN ([2][2],[3][3]).
