Preliminary study on the inhibiting effect of recombinant porcine α-interferon on porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus proliferation.

The inhibiting effect of recombinant porcineα-interferon(rPoIFN-α) on swine pathogenic virus was tested by porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus(PRRSV)/Marc-145 cell system.The results showed that the rPoIFN-αreagent diluted to 10~(10) could effectively prevent Marc- 145 cells from being infected with PRRSV,and the rPoIFN-αreagent diluted to 10~8 could effectively inhibit PRRSV multiplication in Marc-145 cells.The above results provided a valuable reference for further animal experiments of rPoIFN-α.
