Ciliated hepatic foregut cyst Ciliated hepatic foregut cysts are usually seen in anterosuperior localization in the intersegmental area (4). Although they typically appear as hypointense in T1W images and hypointense in T2W images, high signal intensity in T1W images suggests high protein content. Ovarian cancer metastases should be included in the differential diagnosis since they may appear as lesions causing lobulation in the liver contours, though they show wall enhancement (Figure 2).
