Hydration Processes and State of Oxygen-Hydrogen Groups in Fluorine-Substituted Perovskites Based on Ba4In2Zr2O11

2019
Fluorinated perovskites based on Ba4In2Zr2O11 were synthesized. The ability of the phases under study to undergo hydration was proven. The introduction of fluoride ions led to a decrease in the degree of hydration relative to the matrix composition. It was shown that the doping does not change the type of the proton-containing particles, the only form of oxygen-hydrogen groups in fluorinated oxygen-deficient perovskite-like phases based on Ba4In2Zr2O11, Ba2In2O5, and Ba4Ca2Nb2O11 being the energetically nonequivalent hydroxo groups regardless of the degree of disordering in the oxygen sublattice.
