ABSTRACT After discussing the principle of CT technique, the paper develops a thermometry to meas- ure the temperature field of combustion flame,using CT and middle JR spectrum fiber tech-nique. Jn addition, the temperature distribution of a practical flame temperature field, ob- tamed by the system dependent of the method, demonstrates the feasibility of the method. 1 . INTRODUCTION The pollution aroused by combustion is one of the more and more serious pollutionsources in the world. By studying the process of combustion we can get the theoreticaland experimental basis of the combustion style for high thermal efficiency and low pollu—tion, the thermometrical research of a combustion flame is a very meaningful and going —on work. CT (Computed Tomography), which is widely used in the field of medical diagnosis,astronomical physics, non—destructive testing and so on, is a newly developed advancedtechnique.
