Three-dimensional ultrasound in diagnosis of rudimentary of uterus horn

Objective To observe the value of three-dimensional ultrasound in diagnosis of rudimentary uterine horn.Methods Three-dimensional ultrasound was performed on 38 patients suspected of rudimentary uterine horn.The ultrasonic findings were compared with that of hysterography,laparoscopy and(or) the post-surgery pathologic results.Results Of the 38 patients,35 patients were diagnosed definitely,other 3 patients were failed to be distinguished from liquidation of myoma of uterus.Conclusion Three-dimensional ultrasound is an effective way to diagnose rudimentary uterine horn.
