A Tailored Rhomboid Advancement Flap for Severe Anal Stenosis - A video-vignette.

2020
Anal stenosis (AS) is a challenging and disabling condition. It consists of an abnormal narrowing of the anal canal with the normally pliable anoderm replaced by scar tissue. Pain after defecation is the most common symptom even if patients present with an obstructed defecation syndrome. The vast majority of AS occurs after excisional haemorrhoidectomy (EH) with an incidence ranging from 1% to 7.5%.
