Metastatic melanoma presenting as primary uterine neoplasm: a case report.

A case is presented in which a metastatic melanoma presented as a primary uterine neoplasm with uncontrollable vaginal bleeding. This case is particularly interesting since the neoplasm manifested itself 8 years following a removal of a pigmented lesion from the back. Relationship of malignant melanomas to pregnancy is discussed.
