This geological survey includes natural gas and petroleum fields of production. The map scale is 1:500,000; one inch equals approximately 8 miles. The predominant age of production is color coded in the legend by geologic periods of time. Geologic structures such as faults and basins are indicated. The map range is 41 to 45/sup 0/N latitude, 104 to 111/sup 0/W longitude. Oil shale strata are depicted but no implication as to quantity and quality of the resource is intended. (DP)
