Pelvic organ prolapse (POP) is an infrequently evaluated cause of voiding dysfunction in elderly females. It refers to organ descent that may involve bladder, rectum, uterus and which may be predominantly in the anterior or posterior wall of the vagina or the vaginal vault after hysterectomy.
