Comparison of Innovative New Technique and Traditional Endoscopic Treatment of Maxillary

Objective: To explore the comparison of innovative new techniques and traditional endoscopic treatment of maxillary cysts. Methods: 32 cases of maxillary bone cyst patients were divided into two groups, 17 cases in the treatment group received innovative new technology in the treatment of maxillary bone cyst. 15 cases in the control group received nasal passages open window under traditional nasal endoscope in treatment. The cure rate, average hospitalization days, the average hospitalization expenses, postoperative complications and postoperative discomfort, satisfactory rate were observed and compared, respectively. Results: The patients of treatment group can be treated without hospitalization. While in the control group average hospitalization expenses, postoperative complications, postoperative discomfort, patient satisfaction were not as good as those of treatment group. Conclusion: It was more prominent of safety, effective rate and satisfaction in the treatment group than in the control group.
