Quantitative Transcriptome Analysis Using Next Generation Sequencer Reveals Significant Alternations of Cardiac Gene Expression in Heart Failure

is enlarged, pericardial thickening is confirmed in computed tomography, diastolic dysfunction without an septum wall decrease in movement is confirmed in the cardiac ultrasound, and constrictive pericarditis was suspected. Although medical treatment was started with adaptive servo ventilation, the diuretic, and the vasodilator drug after hospitalization and the progress of heart failure was good, both-sides pleural effusion remained, and systolic blood pressure changed 90-100mmHg. Although tolvaptan was used for the treatment of pleural effusion, the condition did not improved and so we used inotropic agents. After inotropic agents use, the pleural effusion having improved and so we canceled tolvaptan. The increase in pleural effusion was not confirmed after both drug was canceled, she was discharged. Conclusion: We used tolvptan for the case of a constrictive pericarditis.
