Prior-information-free image reconstruction through scattering media based on object reflectivity difference

2021
Abstract Image reconstruction through scattering media has been an intractable problem in laser active imaging, especially when the prior information of the imaging objects and point spread functions are unknown. Here, we propose a new method to reconstruct the speckle image using the original image information obtained by one-time detection. In this method, the autocorrelation of the object with the highest reflectivity is firstly filtered by peak searching, and reconstructed by phase retrieval. Then, according to the correlation between the object aforementioned and its adjacent object, the deconvolution iterative algorithm is used to reconstruct the image of the adjacent object. The experimental results verify the effectiveness of our method in the image reconstruction through scattering media without prior-information. This method provides a potentially useful method for speckle image reconstruction in biomedical imaging, atmospheric turbulence imaging and target recognition.
