Interaction between Nearly Hard Colloidal Spheres at an Oil-Water Interface
2020
This paper studies the long-range interaction between quasi-hard, sterically stabilized, colloidal spheres at an oil-water interface. The authors show that the interaction is better described by a screened-monopole or screened inverse square rather than a dipolar potential, which arises as the particles act as neutral holes in the charged plane of the interface.
