Design and realization of train smart scotch block

This paper introduces a kind of on-line monitoring system designed for the train smart scotch block based on GPRS, and gives full description of the system structure, working principle, hardware configuration and software design. This system can monitor the horizontal displacement, the horizontal angle and surface vertical pressure size as well as changing trends of the train smart scotch block. By integrating information and associating the remote monitoring center with GPRS and Internet, the system obtains the actual working conditions and performance evaluation of the train smart scotch block. Besides, the system can also eliminate rail accidents caused by train stop failure by monitoring train stop states, which has great significance for ensuring safe production in the rail field. Practice shows that the system is real-time, stable and reliable.
