Charging method, apparatus and system

Provided is a charging method for charging traffic generated by surfing the internet in a network sharing mode. The method comprises: an access device detecting a content access request sent by a terminal accessed through network sharing; returning content requested for access and determining traffic generated due to the content; and sending a traffic charging request sent to a charging device, the traffic charging request containing a shared traffic identification which represents that traffic requested for charging is the traffic generated due to the content requested for access by the terminal accessed through network sharing, such that the charging device charges the traffic generated due to the content requested for access by the terminal accessed through network sharing. According to the technical solution provided by the embodiments of the present invention, when a user terminal performs network sharing and other user terminals access a network by network sharing, the access device can report the traffic generated by the terminal accessed through network sharing to the charging device, and the charging device charges the traffic generated due to the content accessed by the terminal accessed through network sharing.
