A Highly Robust Terbium Coordination Polymer as a Multiresponsive Luminescent Sensor for Detecting Pollutant Anions

An extremely stable Tb coordination polymer, TbL2 [HL = 4-(pyrimidin-5-yl)benzoic acid], was synthesized. It exhibits high thermal and chemical stability. TbL2 is a visual multiresponsive luminescent probe that can selectively detect F– among the same main-group anions as well as various pollutant phosphorus anions.
