Carbonated Drinks and Adults Health: Awareness among University Participants

Purpose of this study was to examine the perceptions of Pakistani consumers about the negative effects of coke consumption. A survey was conducted among students, faculty & staff members of COMSATS Institute of Information Technology and Bahaudin Zakariya Multan. Questionnaire survey was used to collect data about four major problems (Obesity, Osteoporosis, Tooth enamel Erosion & digestive system problems) caused by coke consumption. Results indicate that majority of population is well aware of these side effects of coke but still use it.
