Amyand Hernisi – Olgu Sunumu

2013
The presence of the appendix vermiformis in inguinal hernia sac is defined as "Amyand hernia". The incidence is 1% and so preoperative diagnosis is difficult. In 1735 it was first described by Claudius Amyand. In time of diagnosis preoperatively the preferred method of treatment is appendectomy from herniotomy. In general, the diagnosis is made during surgery. We present a case of plastrone and incarcerated appendicitis in right recurrent inguinal hernia sac
