Comparative study of depth dose distribution of fast neutrons using solid state nuclear track detectors

1991
Abstract Neutron depth dose distribution in a water phantom for some plastics was measured. The experiment was made with Makrofol, CR-39 and LR-115. The fluence distribution of 252 Cf in air and in water phantom were investigated. The measured neutron build up factor for two exposure positions are found to be dependent on the irradiation geometry and in good agreement with the calculated results given in literature.
