Finite Element Stress Analysis of Double-Opening-Nozzle for Cylindrical Shell Based on the Secondary Development of ANSYS

Double-opening-nozzle of cylindrical shell is often met in process equipment.Taking ANSYS10.0 as platform,Visual Basic 6.0 and APDL language as development tools,the paper carried out the design of the parameters finite element analysis platform thus effectively improved the design efficiency.Through analysis and calculation using this platform,the film stress intensity distribution of the radial cylinder wall between two adjacent opening-nozzle under different load and nozzle spacing conditions was obtained.It provides the effective means for safety assessment and optimization design of such structure.
