Thermopower of Nanocarbon Material Containing Multiwall Carbon Nanotubes with Imperfect Structure

Paper presents the results of investigations of resistance and thermopower of nanocarbon material containing multi-walled carbon nanotubes. Nanocarbon material was produced by a low-temperature conversion of a carbonmonoxide. The structure parameters of multi-walled carbon nanotubes in nanocarbon material are analogous to structure parameters of disordered carbon. The kinetic properties were measured in the temperature range from 4. 2K to 300K. It is shown that the kinetic properties of present nanocarbon material may be described by means of the model of sequential connection of islets with different conductivity.
