Loss of the CD28 costimulatory molecules on the immune subsets of TCD4+ cells in prostate cancer elderly patients.

e16612Background: Cancers are increasing with aging and thus the number of elderly cancer patient is expected to increase significantly in years to come. The aims were to evaluate the cellular immune profiling associated with prostate cancer in elderly patients. Methods: We prospectively enrolled patients, who were treated and followed-up in the department geriatric clinicaloncology.
