Influence of tonifying qi and nourishing yin and clearing heat and detoxicating method combined with lamivudine treatment on immunological indexes of chronic hepatitis B

2012
OBJECTIVE To study the influence of tonifying qi and nourishing yin and clearing heat and detoxicating method combined with lamivudine on immunological indexes of chronic hepatitis B so as to provide basis for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B so as to provide basis for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B.METHODS From Aug 2005 to May 2011,120 cases of patients with chronic hepatitis B were selected as the research objects, and were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group according to the order of admission to hospital. The observation group patients(n=60) were treated with tonifying qi and nourishing yin and clearing heat and detoxicating method combined with lamivudine, and the control group patients(n=60) were treated with lamivudine treatment. Then we observed the content of the HBV-DNA and tested the five markers of hepatitis B before and after the treatment.RESULTS As the treatment duration,at 1 year after treatment, the negative returning rate of HBsAg in the observation group was 25.0%,the negative returning rate of HBsAg was 18.33% and the negative returning rate of pre-S1 antigen was 28.33%,which were higher than those at half a year after treatment, the difference were not statistically significant;at 1 year after treatment,HBV-DNA content was(3.23±1.48) copies/ml,which was lower than those 6 months after the treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).The change of the indexes discussed above of the observation group were significantly superior to those of the control group, the difference was not statistically significant.CONCLUSION The tonifying qi and nourishing yin and clearing heat and detoxicating method combined with lamivudine treatment can dramatically improve the negative rates of HBsAg,HBsAg and pre-S1 antigen and reduce the HBV-DNA content in the serum, the efficacy of which is superior to lamivudine alone.
