Refractory ventricular tachycardia following aortic valve replacement complicated by unsuspected pheochromocytoma.

1993 
After successful aortic valve replacement, a 68-year-old male developed sustained refractory ventricular tachycardia and fibrillation due to an unsuspected pheochromocytoma, resulting in death. The symptoms of pheochromocytoma were masked by symptoms from the cardiac disease.
