Non-prolapsed uterus transvaginal hysterectomy:an analysis of 45 cases

Objective To evaluate the approach and effect of non-prolapsed uterus transvaginal hysterectomy operation.Methods We set 45 cases with uterine benign diseases as observation group which were applied non-prolapsed uterus transvaginal hysterectomy operation.At the same time,other 45 cases with similar uterine benign diseases were chosen as control group and were treated by total abdominal hysterectomy.The effects were compared between two groups during and after operation.Results The total operation time used in observation group was less than that used in control group(P 0.01).Exhaust time after operation,syndrome and length of stay in hospital were lower than those in control group.The result had a significant difference(P 0.01).The average amount of bleeding in surgery between two groups had no significant difference(P 0.05).Conclusion Non-prolapsed uterus transvaginal hysterectomy has excellent values including short operation time and length of stay in hospital,small surgery area and quick recovery.The operation method is worthy of being widely used.
