Pressure stability analysis and design on control valve under fluid-solid coupling

Pressure stability of large-scale control valve was investigated under flow field formed by coal gas.In order to analyze effect factors of pressure,geometry model of control valve was provided.Fluid-solid coupling simulation was accomplished by using CFX and ANSYS workbench in flow field and numerical calculation of structure,with a coupling bench which can transfer fluid pressure and structure displacement.The results show that valve structure and opening are important factors which influence the pressure stability,the bigger the path ratio of connection to valve is and the smaller the pressure drop is,which could provide reference for the optimal design and testing.
