Stress Analysis and Design of High Temperature Piping in Shift Plant

In this article,the significance of piping stress analysis and features of piping in shift plant were briefly introduced.In order to ensure the design for high temperature piping in shift plant with safety,by using software CAESAR II,the stress calculation and optimization for some piping in monoxide shift plant were carried out so as to make the load on nozzles of equipment reach the requirements in codes and standards and to ensure the safe and smooth performance of the plant.The design methods for the high temperature piping in monoxide shift plant were discussed,and then,several methods to decrease the loads on nozzle were proposed,which can be referenced in design of same kind of piping.
