Terson syndrome treated with vitrectomy

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of vitrectomy for treating Terson syndrome.Methods A retrospective ayalysis on clinical data was performed on 8 cases (13 eyes) with Terson syndrome underwent vitrectomy.Results Postoperatively,the vitreous cavities of 13 eyes were all clear,the visual acuity improved.The best correct visual acuity achieved 0.3 or better in 8 eyes,and less than 0.3 in 5 eyes.Conclusion Vitrectomy is an effective and safe treatment for Terson syndrome with less complications.It can restore visual acuity early.
