The Human Genome Project is the beginning of a new age in medicine. At the corner-stone of genomic medicine is the diagnosis and treatment of diseases using gene expression. The aim of this chapter is to provide an introduction on the microarray gene profiling technology and its application in the emerging field of molecular oncology.
