Optical resolution imaging in the diffusive regime with time-reversal of variance-encoded light (TROVE)

Scattering poses a fundamental challenge to biomedical imaging. Here we describe a new high resolution focusing approach to overcome scattering, termed time-reversal of variance-encoded light (TROVE), that combines optical time-reversal with acoustic tagging and variance-encoding.
